Graph Tech PG-8000-F0 Sadles for American & Mexican Tele & Strat
The PG-8000-F0 is a set of six String Saver Classics for a Strat® or Tele® style guitar with a 2 3/16" string spacing with a brushed steel finish. They have a small String Saver insert in the saddle to dramatically reduce string breakage and improve tuning stability. Included with the set is an extra set of slightly longer intonation screws to be used with a Telecaster.
The PAF Pro® was created when chops-intensive playing was first starting to happen, and high-gain amps and rack systems were getting popular. A pickup was needed that combined a lot of presence and "cut" with an open-sounding PAF® vibe. The transparency of its sound lets the PAF Pro® slice through heavy processing, where darker-sounding pickups get lost in the mud of the effects chain. Low notes have both snap and chunk, and there is a spike in the mid-range that gives the pickup a subtle "aw" vowel sound, like a wah-wah pedal stopped in the middle.
Our most popular single-coil for Strat® yields a bright and punchy tone with vintage output. Perfect for players who need accurate traditional single-coil tone with a more focused “bell” tone with a tighter bass response.
Seymour Duncan SSL-1 Vintage Staggared (Strat) Pickup - SSL-1 An exact replica of the original Alnico V Stratocaster® pickups. The same type of magnet wire is used, as well as the same number of coil windings. The staggered rod magnets are hand-ground, then aged by the exclusive Dun-Aged™ process, lacquered bobbins and cloth-braid hookup wire complete the vintage look. Every detail is included to duplicate the bell-like tone and the high-end bite that made the vintage Strat® famous.
Beef up the sound of the Patent Applied For pickup and you get a hard-driving, kicking sound with just the right balance of power, sustain, and distortion
Seymour Duncan SH-5 Duncan Custom - SH-5/TB-5 -- Beef up the sound of the Patent Applied For pickup and you get a hard-driving, kicking sound with just the right balance of power, sustain, and distortion. Hard-driving, kickin’ sound with the right balance of power, sustain, and distortion. This pickup cuts through with a distinctive high end and midrange attack. Compressed dynamics, an enhanced harmonic structure, and a punchy bass
Trembucker option is only for bridge fitting.
To be completely true to the original design and tone, the pickup is not wax potted. The tone is vintage P.A.F. The unpotted cover gives a slightly “honky” micro-phonic quality. Vintage style single conductor cable standard.
Seymour Duncan SH-55-Seth Lover Model (Nickel Covers) - SH-55 -- The SH-55 was designed jointly by Seymour and humbucker inventor Seth Lover. Just like the original 1955 P.A.F.s, the SH-55 utilizes a nickel silver bottom plate, butyrate plastic bobbins; plain enamel wire, an Alnico bar magnet, a wooden spacer, and black paper tape. The SH-55 uses a nickel silver cover instead of brass, which magnetically eliminates too much of the pickup's natural high-end tone. To be completely true to the original design and tone, the pickup is not wax potted. The tone is vintage P.A.F. The neck pickup will warm up even the coldest guitar. And the unpotted covers give the bridge pickup just enough boldness to break up early and really cut.
The Custom CustomTM is our SH-5 Duncan CustomTM humbucker with an Alnico II magnet for warm and smooth highs, more midrange, and a spongier bottom end than the SH-5. It’s a good choice for players who need a traditional vintage tone with increased output.
Yields high output while retaining clarity. The massive ceramic magnet and hot coil windings deliver tremendous power and raw distorted rock sounds.
Players who get their distortion from the amp rather than the pickup love the APS-1. It allows them to back off the crunch and get beautiful clean tones with softer attack. Compared to the SSL-1, the APS-1 has a rounder sound with a spongier bass response.
